Fringe Talent President Debra Blanchard Knight started her career in animation production for Warner Brother’s TV, where she worked on the Emmy Award winning series, “Tiny Toon Adventures”. From there she joined George Lucas’ studio, Industrial Light & Magic, where she began her recruiting career working on the second of the Star Wars trilogies. She then went on to head up recruiting for DreamWorks Animation, staffing multiple feature projects such as “Shrek”, “Madagascar”, “Over the Hedge” and “Sharktale”.
Since that time, Debra has gone on to build and then head recruiting for Starz Animation, overseeing hiring for their LA, Vancouver and Toronto studios, as well as heading recruiting for Fox’s Blue Sky Studios, creator of the popular “Ice Age” franchise.
With the formation of Fringe Talent in 2007, Debra has created a powerful resource for studios and productions all over the world. Together with her team of experienced recruiters she brings a wealth of knowledge, contacts and recruiting expertise unmatched in the industry.
